ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT

Session Duration

Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes. The timing of each session will depend upon the needs of the client. An average session often takes 45 minutes, however, we account for an extended 15 minutes to ensure flexibility for each individual need within each session. There is no additional charge for the extra 15 minutes.

We offer support across a wide range of area, from enhancing performance to navigating the challenges that sport, performance and life can bring. Whether you are looking to build confidence, manage performance anxiety, sharpen focus and concentration, develop pre-performance routines, strengthen motivation, overcome setbacks, support injury recovery, or navigate transitions such as burnout or career change, we are here to help.

We also work with organisations and businesses,applying the principles of performance psychology to support teams and individuals to thrive under pressure in competitive environemnts.


Our Approach

The psychologist will work with you collaboratively to develop psychological flexibility, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We will work with the needs and interests of the individual to find the most suitable and beneficial intervention that will work with each client. This will always be co-created with the client to support engagement. Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions for moving towards your goals will be ongoing; however, there will also be formal monitoring periodically.


Environment

Usually sessions are delivered online, We use a variety of platforms to suit the need of the client. The aim is to create a psychologically safe space to explore your internal and external experiences. We ensure confidentially delivered in sessions in a quiet space with headphones in. We ask that clients are in confidential, safe space to talk openly.

When delivering one-to-one sessions with young peopl, we create an environemnt where they are able to feel safe to be completely honest. This openness helps us identify the true need for support, leading us in the direction.
